We understand that facing a serious illness is never easy and we recognize the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological factors related to the patient’s terminal condition. Our highly qualified healthcare team is with you every step of the journey, offering quality care and providing comprehensive support through home visits, phone consultation and inpatient services. What is hospice care?
Hospice care is a multi-faceted program of care for terminally ill patients and their families. It is centered on enhancing quality of life and promoting maximum comfort for the patients while also extending support to their families. Personalized care is provided in the patient’s chosen setting by an interdisciplinary team that draws from their areas of expertise to meet the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the patients. Services such as counseling, respite care, and practical support are offered to the patient’s loved ones as well.
Who can benefit from hospice care?
Hospice is designed for patients with any terminal diagnosis whose life expectancy is limited to six months or less, as determined by a physician, and whose priorities have shifted from curative treatment to comfort-oriented care.
Benefits are provided through Medicare Part A and Part B, Medi-Cal, Private Insurance, HMO’s private pay and other forms of reimbursement for our services.
